During my day at the Association for Convention Operation Management’s 16th Annual Conference, I really was able to experience and understand the point of view of the managers and directors of conference services I met. As we interacted within our discussion groups and during the breaks, it was interesting to hear their positions on the different subjects we were being taught. They looked to me to give my perspective, and I was privileged enough to be able to share my standpoint, as a meeting planner, to them. I think without me being there to put in my two cents, they might not have even thought of how a meeting planner might approach a situation. My day at ACOM was great eye opener and I recommend the conference to every meeting planner who is looking for a wonderful learning experience. Thank you ACOM.
