Dear Fellow ACOM Members,
This is a very exciting time to be part of ACOM …explosive membership growth, provocative educational offerings, increased tools, resources and networking opportunities. These are the things that you, our members, told us you wanted more of. And this year you will have them --so utilize them and enjoy ACOM as the premiere place for education and networking for convention service professionals.
The oft-requested Salary Survey results will be presented soon in an easy to use format that will be accessible and useful. Also, the new and much improved Listserv will be unveiled in 2005 and will include user friendly and efficient interfaces, archives, and much more. And when ACOM unveils our new Tool Box at www.acomonline.org, it will round out this collection of innovative resources available to our members.
We continue to work towards our membership goal of reaching 500 members by the end of the year. Currently we are at 416 members and the number increases every week! Last year we boasted our largest membership growth ever with 78 new members. More members means more valuable networking opportunities for all members!
I am proud to be involved with such a dynamic organization and encourage those of you who have not yet become actively involved with ACOM to do so! It is our passion for what we do that drives us, so get passionate about ACOM and get involved today!
