Committees

Committees are a vital part of the ACOM family. ACOM's members play an important role in building and growing the successes of the association. To join or inquire about any of the following committees, please email the committee chair.

Annual Conference
Plans the educational program for the 2011 Annual Conference in Las Vegas, NV.

Conference Chair: Sharon Gronowski, CMP, Positively Cleveland

Continuing Education
This committee works on the broader-based issues of educational programming within ACOM. It is not directly involved in the specifics of the Annual Conference or the Summer Education Conference. It is involved in setting general direction and identifying key industry trends and member educational needs, including for the monthly Idea Network and Webinar programs.

Marketing / Communications
The marketing / communications committee is involved in communications such as ACOMmodate, At-A-Glance and the ACOM website. This area is also involved in broader marketing issues such as the image of ACOM among employers, meeting and convention industry players and the public. The committee allows everyone an open forum to exchange article topic suggestions and strategically discuss ways to promote ACOM throughout the media.
